Set Up Public Holiday and Working Hours

By default, working hours are set to 24/7. If you customize working hours, all hours that aren't included in working hours are considered after working hours.

Public Holiday

There are 2 options available to set up Public Holidays according to specific requirements of an organization.

  1. Follow Default holiday: Incoming calls to the Auto Attendant number will follow the organization's default public holiday flow.
  2. Customize holiday: Incoming calls to the Auto Attendant number will follow the customized holiday flow.

Important Note:

  • Auto Attendant public holiday overrides Organization’s default public holiday.
  • Custom Holiday is not a recurring event. It will only be applied for the appointed date.

 

To set up Public Holiday for your organization, follow the steps below:

  • Go to Auto Attendant
  • Select a flow
  • Select Working Hours tab
  • Select option for Public Holiday:
  • Follow default holiday
  • Customize holiday
    • Select Public Holiday by country
    • Toggle ON Custom Holiday
    • Select the existing options from the dropdown list
  • Click Save.

Note:

If choosing None, the Auto Attendant flow will have no Public Holiday.

 

Set Up Work Time

To set up Work Time, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Auto Attendant
  2. Chose the flow that you want to set up
  3. Go toWorking Hours
  4. Select the Time Zone for your organization
    1. Auto Attendant Public Holiday will follow the Working Hours Timezone configured for each Auto Attendant, rather than the organization's default timezone.
  5. Set up your working hours
  6. Save

Notes:

  • Working hours must be set accordingly. The system will determine and run the call flow based on the time/date the call is received.
  • The default setting of working hours for the newly created Auto Attendant flows will be 24/7.
